At our gastronomic restaurant Aurum, we are looking for a chef de partie to strengthen our team. The Aurum team serves balanced and flavor-rich dishes in a unique setting.
Aurum is part of the five-star hotel Kasteel van Ordingen, a gem in the heart of Haspengouw (near Sint-Truiden and Hasselt). The castle estate also includes 32 rooms and suites, Bistro Richard, a wellness area, a maximalist lounge, 3 meeting rooms for business events, as well as a pear orchard and vineyard… As a member of Relais & Châteaux, we strive to offer our guests an exceptional experience in a warm and authentic setting.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for your own section (hot or cold side) in the kitchen
- Prepare dishes for lunch and dinner
- Mise en place
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and service colleagues under the guidance of the chef
- Manage and clean kitchen equipment
- Adherence to safety and HACCP regulations in the kitchen
- Continuously innovate and strive for perfect service for guests
Profile
- Culinary training and/or work experience in a similar role
- Passion and talent for high-level gastronomy
- Attention to detail
- Creative and a true team player
