We are looking for an all-round Food & Beverage team member to strengthen our team at the bistro of Kasteel van Ordingen. The five-star hotel Kasteel van Ordingen is a true gem in the heart of Haspengouw (near Sint-Truiden and Hasselt). The castle estate includes 32 rooms and suites, restaurant Aurum, Bistro Richard, wellness facilities, a lounge, and three meeting rooms for business events.

As an all-round F&B team member, you will be responsible for serving food and drinks in Bistro Richard. You ensure a warm welcome for every guest and guide them with your knowledge of the menu. With your contagious smile, you contribute to a positive atmosphere in the dining area and help ensure a smooth and seamless service.

Before, during, and after the shift, you help maintain order and cleanliness: setting up the dining area, mise en place, and tidying up afterwards.

You will also be responsible for the planning, execution, and follow-up of meetings and events. In close collaboration with the sales department, you ensure the proper setup of the event space, communicate culinary wishes to the kitchen, help develop packages, provide strong support to the organizer, and lend a hand wherever needed.

• You can work both independently and as part of a team.

• You are proactive, precise, and have an eye for detail.

• You speak Dutch and French. Knowledge of another language is a plus.

• Preferably, you have some experience or relevant training/internship in the sector.
